Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) IBASS Course Eligibility Checker Portal Guidelines and Procedures for UTME and Direct Entry Candidates

 

This is to alert all UTME and Direct Entry applicants that the Course Eligibility Portal has been activated by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, or JAMB.

The JAMB Course Eligibility Checker will help both UTME and Direct Entry Students to determine their various chances of gaining admission into their institution of choice.

The JAMB Course Eligibility Checker works in a way that candidates will be required to provide or choose their Exam Mode, Institution, Programmes which they wish to study. Other information needed are O’ Level for UTME and A’ Level Scores for Direct Entry Students, UTME Subjects Combinations.

Candidates can equally log on to the system state their requirements and the system will come up with list of institutions such candidates are qualified to be admitted. This will help candidates to easily know the right institutions they need to apply to or change to if need be.

Candidate should use this system to check either they are qualify for the course or not. Before you do any change of course, kindly check course eligibility before you proceed .

Candidates after providing all the above details will be required to click on the Check Course Eligibility Button and wait for the result.

All candidates seeking to further their education into the Nigerian Tertiary Institutions are advised to make use of the JAMB Course Eligibility Checker Portal to determine their chances of gaining admission in respective programmes and institutions through their O’ Level and A’ Level Scores and UTME Subjects Combinations.

Steps to Use the JAMB Course Eligibility Checker Portal for UTME/DE

• Kindly log on to the JAMB Course Eligibility Checker Portal via begin https://eligibility.jamb.gov.ng/checker/
• Select Mode of Entry – Candidates selects either UTME or Direct Entry
• Select School Type – Degree Awarding Institution, NCE, ND, NID
• Choose a Category > preferred Institution > Select course of study.
• Enter your A’Level/O’level Results
• Selects Your UTME/DE Subject Combination.
• Finally click on the “Check Button” to Check JAMB Eligibility.
